HDMI Interface
The Rhino Pi IQ9N (Rhino Pi IQ9N) provides 1 standard HDMI 2.0 output interface (up to 4K@60fps), along with 1 4-lane MIPI-DSI display output, meeting a variety of display requirements.
Hardware Specifications
| Display Interface | Quantity | Specification | Connection |
|---|---|---|---|
| HDMI | 1 | HDMI 2.0, up to 4K@60fps | Standard HDMI female connector |
| MIPI-DSI | 1 | 4-lane MIPI-DSI | ZIF-LCM&TP: FH26W-39S-0.3SHW(60); recommended LCM model: Yuxi Technology YX86801ACT |
DP to HDMI Conversion
The complete solution implements display output through a DP to HDMI high-speed video conversion chip. The key specifications are as follows:
- Interface: Type-C (with PD3.0/DRP), DP1.4a/eDP1.5 receiver; HDMI2.0/HDMI2.1 transmitter
- Performance: up to 8K@30Hz or 4K@144Hz, with bandwidth up to 40 Gbps
- Features: built-in CC controller, audio (I2S/SPDIF), adaptive equalization, supports long-distance transmission
The external HDMI output of the complete device is specified to the HDMI 2.0 standard, supporting up to 4K@60fps.
Display and Touch Panel
The LCM and touch panel (TP) share the ZIF-LCM&TP connector, and the touch panel uses an SPI interface. The display is optional for the complete device; specifications are as follows:
| Item | Parameter |
|---|---|
| Screen size | 8.68 inch |
| Resolution | 1340 x 800 |
| Brightness | 500 nits |
| Screen material | TFT LCD |
| Touch panel | 10-point capacitive touch |
The exact screen size is subject to confirmation by both parties via email after the mechanical design is finalized.
Interface Definitions
For the position of the ZIF-LCM&TP connector on the board, see the interface layout diagram in Rhino Pi IQ9N Interface Description on the first page.

Connecting a Display
Use an HDMI cable to connect the HDMI interface of the Rhino Pi IQ9N to the display, and switch the display input source to the corresponding HDMI channel.
The system uses MIPI-DSI as the primary display by default. When no MIPI screen is connected, the MIPI-DSI output must first be disabled before the login screen appears on the HDMI display. See Display Usage for configuration.
Notes
- Use an HDMI cable that meets the specification to ensure signal integrity at high resolution and high frame rate.
- For high-speed signal interfaces, handle layout routing according to the design requirements.
