Display Usage
When developers want to display the system desktop on a DP screen, they can follow the steps below to access the Ubuntu system.
Hardware Preparation
- Main board: Rhino Pi-A1
- Power supply: DC12V/24V 3A power adapter
- Input device: USB TYPE-C to DP cable, USB mouse/keyboard
- Output device: DP display
Starting the Board
The board comes with the Ubuntu 24.04 operating system pre-installed. After powering it with a 12V/24V 3A power adapter, the board will boot the system automatically.
- Boot process: The RGB light stays solid green and blinks.
- System boot complete: The RGB light stays solid green and stops blinking, indicating that boot is complete.
Connecting the Device to the Display
Connect the Type-C port of the Rhino Pi-A1 to a USB TYPE-C to DP cable, and connect the DP end of the cable to the DP port of the display.
Connect the mouse and keyboard to the USB ports of the Rhino Pi-A1.
Move the mouse and you can see the Ubuntu system login screen.
